By making a reservation at Hostal Manel, the guest accepts the following conditions:
Booking: Reservations can be made through our official website.
Payment: Payment is made in advance by credit/debit card, Bizum, or Google/Apple Pay. Payments upon arrival are not accepted and no refunds are issued.
Modifications: To modify the reservation dates, a minimum notice of 7 days before the arrival date is required.
Cancellations and Refunds:
General Rule (Non-Refundable Rate): Our reservations do not allow cancellation or modification, and therefore no refunds will be issued under any circumstances.
Exception (Flexible Rate): If your reservation was made under a free cancellation condition, you must cancel within the stipulated period in your booking conditions to avoid charges.
Exceptions: In exceptional and duly justified cases (such as serious illness, death of a close relative, or duly accredited force majeure events), the possibility of changing the reservation dates or a partial refund will be considered. The guest must present the corresponding documentation justifying the cause of the cancellation.
Arrival and Departure: The check-in time is from 13:30h until 22:00h and check-out time is before 12:00h. For late arrivals, please inform the establishment in advance.
Capacity: The maximum capacity per room is 2 people. An extra bed is permitted upon request, meaning the maximum capacity in these cases would be 3 people.
Pets: Pets are not currently allowed.
Smoking: Smoking is prohibited in all rooms and interior common areas. Smoking is allowed on designated balconies and terraces.
Damages: The guest will be responsible for any damage caused to the facilities.
Silence: Guests are requested to respect the silence between 22:00h and 7:00h.
Access to the Accommodation: For security reasons, access to the hostel facilities is restricted to registered guests. Room keys are personal and non-transferable. Guests may receive visitors during the established hours (13:30 to 22:00h), provided they register their guests at reception. To ensure the safety of all our guests, we have a security camera surveillance system in the common areas of the establishment. The hostel reserves the right to deny access to anyone who does not comply with these rules.
Expulsion for Non-Compliance with Rules: The establishment reserves the right to immediately and without prior notice expel any guest engaging in behaviour that seriously disrupts coexistence, such as:
Fights, violent arguments, or aggressive behaviour.
Shouting, excessive noise, or repeated disturbances to other guests.
Abusive consumption of alcohol or narcotics on the premises.
Damage, intentional deterioration, or improper use of furniture, equipment, or facilities.
Serious non-compliance with the hostel's internal rules or the legal obligations of the tourist user (art. 31 of the Catalan Tourism Law). In such cases:
No refund will be provided for contracted and unspent nights of accommodation.
The establishment may request, if necessary, the intervention of the competent authority to ensure security and order.
